The latest in personnel management, business and internationalisation will be the subject of Interbusiness CURITIBA 2011, a conference to be held by FESP – College of Higher Education of Parana, in partnership with FCU – Florida Christian University, on May 26, 27, and 28.

Focused on the development and expansion of content and also the exchange of international experiences, the event will bring together executives, managers, consultants, academics and businessmen from Brazil and abroad to discuss issues related to the internationalisation of careers, developing people and businesses.

A team of renowned speakers of world-wide recognition that work as consultants and executives of major trans-national business groups will address topics on the latest in the corporate world; helping you to re-evaluate your concepts about working with multicultural groups in your company, and also to use emotional intelligence when making decisions in times of pressure and therefore allowing you to release your full potential in support of your personal and professional development.

FCU is located in Orlando, Florida, USA and it is one of Curitiba’s sister cities through the UN’s “Sister Cities” programme. Professor Carlos Eduardo de Athayde Guimaraes, Project Coordinator, went to Orlando in order to formalise the partnership with Dr. Anthony Portigliatti, FCU President, Chancellor and Dean.

According to Dr. Portigliatti, “the internationalisation of business and careers, focused on the management of people and pivoted in diversity, will be the big difference in both current and future markets for companies, institutions and people over the next decade.  No matter what the area, closing your eyes to globalisation is like stopping a clock to save time.”

The goal of the workshop is the internationalisation of careers, or in other words, the exchange of experiences between the two countries, Brazil and the USA.  FESP’s Financial Director and Internationalisation Programme Coordinator, Carlos Eduardo Guimaraes, says that some of the most important topics in business and people management, such as inter-generation conflict management and multicultural diversity in companies, will be discussed at the seminar, enabling the participant to interact and develop their management potential within the reality of their work.

The lectures will take place on April 26 and 27, from 6:30 pm and all day on April 28 (Saturday). Registration is now open at www.fesppr.br or by telephone: 41 3028-6521.  At the end of the seminar, participants will receive a certificate from the Florida Christian University and FESP.
