Curitiba to be featured in The Guardian
The city of Curitiba will be one of the features in a special edition on Brazil to be published by the British newspaper, The Guardian. Mayor Beto Richa was interviewed by journalist Luiz Fernando Koyven, the paper’s reporter in Brazil.
The special edition will be published in April and is aimed at serving as a guide for investors interested in doing business in the South American country. Curitiba will be presented as a city of strong potential for new investments.
Mr. Richa spoke of Curitiba’s infrastructure, labour force, environment, tourism, culture and quality of life. He also explained the city’s Technopark and talked of the professionalism in Curitiba’s municipal administration.
The Guardian is one of Europe’s most respected newspapers. The special edition will also carry interviews with Brazilian businesspeople and politicians, such as Dilma Roussef and Fernando Henrique Cardoso.
